Students at the Gladys A. Abraham Elementary School presented a "Musical Celebration" as the theme of its 2017 Spring Concert on May 18 in the school's cafeteria. Audience members, comprised of parents, staff, other students and visitors, enjoyed an exciting selection of dance, song, poetry and musical performances from students in grades K-6.
Musical selections were presented by the Gladys A. Abraham School Band, the primary choir and the intermediate choir; dance performances were presented by Ms. Skeete, Mrs. Silcott, and Mrs. A. Benjamin's classes, as well as by the Gladys Abraham Cheerleaders. Ms. Warner's class presented a poem titled "Spring Garden" and songs were presented by the second grade classes, Ms. Lewis' class, by Kirabo Stephens and Mrs. Silcott's class. Ms. Lewis' class presented a pantomime and Jah'Syin presented "My Prayer."
