Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) Commissioner Racquel Berry-Benjamin invites parents of students attending the Territory’s public schools to a Virtual Parent Feedback Forum at 5:30 p.m. on Mon., Aug. 16 on Zoom.
Berry-Benjamin describes the hour-long session as an opportunity for Department of Education officials to gain feedback from parents about their experiences with virtual learning and other aspects of the Territory’s public education system, as well as for Department leaders to share valuable information pertaining to the current school year with parents.
“Parents are one of our most important stakeholders and we cannot educate our children without their full support,” Berry-Benjamin said. “We want to hear from parents, and we want them to feel supported by the Department as our educational landscape continues to evolve as a result of the pandemic.”
