The Day Adult Program provides literacy enrichment to all levels. We have self-contained classes for our non-readers. Adult basic education has many academic levels relative to low (elementary), intermediate (middle school) and those who are functioning academically at a high school level and preparing to take the GED test. We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) to our non-Englis speakers. The courses that will be offered in the future are Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science as well as Digital Literacy and Civics. All enrolled adult learners are assessed and placed in classes structured for their academic level. Not all students maybe GED aspirants but most students yearn to be able to read well enough to gain their independence filling out forms and applications etc. The following classes offered currently are Adult basic education and basic computer. The program is aligned with the district calendar and is closed for the summer. Enrollment age is 18+ We offer both online and textbook resources for instruction.
