Welcome to the Saint Thomas-Saint John School District, a vibrant educational community serving approximately 5,230 students across 10 schools in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our district is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, cultural awareness, and personal growth among our diverse student body. With a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 12:1, we ensure personalized attention to support each student's unique learning journey. Beyond our core schools, we offer a variety of programs designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of our students, preparing them to become responsible, contributing members of society. District Happenings
Book Festival
The week-long book festival, dubbed "Ready to Read," showcased a diverse array of publications - from coloring books to fiction and non-fiction novels to bibliographies to professional development and industry-specific books - and featured a number of local, regional, national, and international authors. Attendees of every age walked away with something to stimulate their literary fervor.
Students, their teachers and chaperones and members of the public attended a week-long book festival at the Tutu Park Mall hosted by The Office of the Insular Superintendent.
