JAG-VI Golf Classic
The JAG Golf Classic Fundraiser was the perfect blend of purpose and enjoyment. An engaging and informative weekend that highlighted the incredible impact JAG has on students across the community.
Saturday morning kicked off with a special media moment featuring students from both the St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix districts, alongside National JAG student officers. They had the unique opportunity to sit in on an interview with Governor Albert Bryan and JAG CEO Janelle Duray, sharing firsthand experiences about how JAG has positively shaped their academic and career journeys. It was an inspiring exchange that truly brought the mission of JAG to life.
Following the interview, Governor Bryan hosted an intimate summit experience for the students. The session included a dynamic student panel discussion, giving students a platform to engage, ask questions, and share perspectives. The Governor also delivered an insightful presentation, breaking down the key differences between leadership and management, leaving students with valuable lessons they can carry forward.
On Sunday, the excitement continued as several students volunteered during the Golf Classic tournament. From assisting with event coordination to engaging with participants, the students not only contributed to the success of the event but also had an amazing time doing it.
Overall, the JAG Golf Classic Fundraiser was more than just an event, it was a meaningful experience filled with learning, connection, and community spirit.
