Executive Summary

Development of Disaster Planning & School Security

• Conduct a three-phase assessment model (Territorial wide assessment)
• Upon completion of the model, develop SMART objectives
• Create collaborative partnerships and agreements with key stakeholders/partners
• Develop an operational budget – it will be tied directly to key performance indicators (KPI’s)
• Identify a VIDE structure (personnel) for the DP&SS
• Develop a training matrix to build knowledge management within VIDE
• Develop a strategic plan (5 year) to ensure resiliency and growth is maintain within the DD&SS for VIDE
• Ensure that a pandemic/epidemic annex is created for utilization of all of VIDE members (faculty, staff, and students) and is a part of the EOP
