UVI President to Deliver Keynote Address at St. Croix's Adult Education Ceremony

Commencement exercises will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Croix Educational Complex auditorium for about 100 adult learners graduating from the Adult Secondary Education and the General Educational Development (GED) programs.

The theme for the 2014 Adult and Continuing Education Programs graduating class is “Pursuing Pathways To Upward Mobility.” University of the Virgin Islands President Dr. David Hall will deliver the keynote address.

“The programs’ mission statement is dedicated to empowerment of adults in advocating for themselves, their families and their community through family literacy and workforce education in a non-traditional setting,” says Principal Patricia Cottle-Matthew. “Graduation is an important part of this process,” she adds.
